Stay Connected
As we are starting to approach the spring of our 49th year, we are thinking about the impact that each and every one of you has had on Jubilee's growth over the years.
We are starting a campaign to reconnect and engage our alumni community. Please take a few minutes to fill out this form, and share with any Jubilee alumni you are in contact with!
Alumni Highlights
Bethany Class of ‘14
“A teacher that had an impact on me is Ms. Karen, because she made us realize we were never just children. She saw strength and purpose in us before we saw it in ourselves. She didn’t silence it—she nurtured it, and pushed us to carry ourselves with ten times more confidence.
I am currently in college and a Lab Technician (UPenn)”
Lassana - Attended 2004-2010
“Jubilee taught me so much about black history across the diaspora and showed me what different forms of activism looks like. Through this I was able to create a strong sense of self and understand my past; all of which I believe helped me navigate through life thus far.” When I attended jubilee it was a writing intensive school and I’ve taken that passion for writing and creating art in to my adulthood.
I am now an entrepreneur working in the content creation as well as fashion space. I attended and graduated from Saint Joseph’s university.”
Amea - Class of ‘15
“Jubilee taught me how to think, not just what to think. Jubilee taught me how to share my opinion and feel heard. Jubilee School is more than a school ,it’s a community where creativity, culture, and critical thinking come together to help students grow with confidence and pride in who they are.
I have graduated from Temple university with a Bachelor of Arts. I currently am working at Kitchen and Kocktails.”
