The Arts

The Jubilee arts program is designed to develop the gifts and creativity of its students, and to provide them with many means of expression. A goal is to develop discipline and confidence in students, and to provide a structure for working towards long term artistic goals. Another goal is to share the gifts of students with the larger community through concerts, art exhibits, poetry readings, performances and published writing. Through public displays of their art, students will be given opportunity to use their voices to enrich the community.

Students in pre-school through third grade have group instruction in Suzuki violin. Students in grades three through six receive small group instruction in brass, percussion and string instruments. Students learn different instruments in each group, forming ensembles.
